HYMN STORY
I know this story is a very familiar one however, I have always been intrigued with the life of Mr. and Mrs. Horacio Spafford. I can visualize the intense hardships this couple endured.
The monetary and property loss prior to the loss of their four daughters. I often visualize myself on the boat penning the words-I can't imagine a tragedy of this extent. What a comfort these words have been to us today.

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,

And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
